HOW TO PROGRAM A SATELLITE:

1. Go to a satellite that is near to the satellite to be programmed.

2. Select a channel that is active on the satellite to be programmed and on the satellite that you are starting from.

3. a. If you are starting from a satellite with the same polartiy, tap EAST or WEST until the correct satellite is found.

      b. If you are starting froma satellite with the opposite polarity, tap EAST or WEST until the picture is gone. Press FORMAT one time to reverse the polarity. Continue moving east or west until the correct satellite is found.

4. After finding the correct satellite. Press SATELLITE  MEMORY on the receiver and the Memory light will come on.

5. Press the letter of the satellite (F, W, T, G, Other).

6. Press the number of the satellite. If the satellite selected is already programmed then the number will go off the screen. IF you want to use this name for this particular satellite then go to step 4 of the reprogram a satellite section OR use a different number to store this satellie.

7. Press ENTER and the satellite name will be on the display and the Memory light will automatically go out.

8. It is not necessary to press SATELLITE MEMORY.

To reprogram a satellite

1. Go to a satellite that is near to the satellite to be programmed.

2. Select a channel that is active on the satellite to be programmed and on the satellite that you are starting from.

3. a. If you are starting from a satellite with the same polartiy, tap EAST or WEST until the correct satellite is found.

      b. If you are starting froma satellite with the opposite polarity, tap EAST or WEST until the picture is gone. Press FORMAT one time to reverse the polarity. Continue moving east or west until the correct satellite is found.

4. Press EAST and WEST on the receiver at the same time. (not sure what happens)

5. Press SEEK on the remote until the correct satellite is displayed.

6. Press SATELLITE  MEMORY and the Memory light will come on and the name will disappear.

7. Press letter and number of the same satellite.

8. Press ENTER and the Memory light will go out and the name should be on the display.
