These three receivers work the same, the only difference between them is the wording in the menus. The menus are setup the same and should have very similar remotes. The remote has SELECT between up arrow, down arrow, left arrow and right arrow for changing satellites.
1. Go to a satellite that has the same polarity (or format) that is near the satellite to be programmed. 2. Press MENU once. This will display the Tuning Mode menu. 3. If it will not enter the Tuning mode menu, see Unlocking Tuning Mode.
4. Press the number that says Dish Tuning or use the arrows to select Dish Tuning, then press SELECT. This will display:
5. Start tapping left arrow (East) or right arrow (West) until a picture comes in. If it is not correct, continue tapping until another picture appears. If the picture is correct, then write down the dish position number and press VIEW. 6. Press MENU twice. This will display the Advanced Features menu. 7. Press 1 which should be Sat Options. This should display the Sat Options menu. 8. Press 1 again for Store Positions. This should display a list of satellites. Use up arrow or down arrow to move the arrow beside a satellite that is not stored or one that you dont use. 9. Press SELECT until the programming menu comes up. **NOTE: You may have to press SELECT several times
before it will work. And, will probably display Sat ? already installed when
doing so. Just keep pressing select until
the menu below comes up.**
10. Once this menu is up, verify that the channel is still correct. If not, use channel up/down to change channel to an active channel. Verify that the dish position is correct. If not move east/west until it is on the correct position. Press SELECT. It should display Sat ? has been installed. If this is displayed then this means it is stored. Press VIEW. - If the the picture is correct, then this completes the process. -If the dish position was stored correctly and there is no picture, then proceed with step 11. Press MENU once. This will display the Tuning Mode menu. 12. Press the number that is next to polarity tuning or use the arrows to select polarity tuning, then press SELECT. If there is no polarity tuning then see Changing the Feed Type. 13. This will display:
14. Press SELECT to autopeak the Polarity. This should bring a picture in. If a picture does come in, proceed to step 16. 15. If a picture does not come in or it does not autopeak at all, then try tapping right arrow until a picture does appear. If there is still no picture, then start over at Programming a Satellite. 16. Press VIEW. 17. Press MENU twice. This will display the Advanced Features menu. 18. Press 1, which should be Sat Options. This should display the Sat Options menu. 19. Press 1 again for Store Positions. This should display a list of satellites. Use up/down arrow to move the arrow beside the satellite that was used previously. 20. Press SELECT until the programming menu comes up **NOTE: You may have to press SELECT several times before it will work. And, will probably display Sat ? already installed when doing so. Just keep pressing select until it displays Sat ? has been installed. If this is displayed then this means it should have stored the polarity. Press VIEW. 21. Verify that everything is stored correctly then you are finished. If not, go back to Step 17. 1. Press MENU twice to display the Advanced Functions menu. Press 4 to display the Installation menu. 2. Number 1 should be Feed Type and there will be approximately five different options that it will rotate through when 1 is pressed. Continue to press 1 until it displays Single C beside Feed Type. Verify that number 2 displays Polarizer- Rotor. If it does not, press 2 until Rotor is displayed beside line number 2. 3. Press VIEW to exit the menus and return to Step 12 of Programming a Satellite.

for a password, then enter 8472. This will display:
2. Press 1, then press SELECT until it displays Unlock beside line number 1. Next, press 2, then press SELECT until not set in is displayed beside line number 2. Now press VIEW to exit the menus and return to Step 2 of Programming a Satellite. |
