This receiver features an IR remote, channel scan, parental lockout capability, video/audio outputs and up to 20 programmable satellite memory.

HOW TO PROGRAM A SATELLITE

1. Go to a satellite next to or near the one you want to program.

2. Press AUTO/MAN until the “Man” light on the receiver comes on.  If you start on a satellite with the same polarity format, tap EAST/WEST until you find the correct satellite.  Then go to step 3.  If you start on a satellite with the opposite polarity format, tap EAST/WEST until you lose the picture.  Then press V/H on the front of the receiver one time.  At this point you should get a picture. Use EAST/WEST if necessary to obtain a clear picture.

3. Press SATELLITE TYPE on the front of the receiver until the correct letter appears in the display.

4. Then press SATELLITE NO.until the correct number appears in the display.

5. Press ANT STORE on the front of the receiver.  The display should blink off and then come back on.  The “Mem” light in the display should also light up to confirm that the satellite information is stored.  ** If the information does not store, check the STORE LOCK switch on the back of the receiver.  It should be in the unlock position. **

6. Go back to the automatic mode by pressing AUTO/MAN until the “Auto” light on the receiver comes back on.
