The Drake 924 features up to 9 channel priority view memory, up to 21 programmable satellites, the ability to lock out up to 24 channels, an on-screen display and an IR remote. This receiver does not have menus or on-screen displays. All functions are operated from the remote or receiver. LEGEND Blue = Buttons on Remote or Receiver 1. Go to a satellite that is next to or near to the satellite to be programmed. 2. Select a channel that is active on the satellite that is to be programmed and on the satellite that you are starting from. 3. On the front of the receiver: Press auto until the auto light goes off. 4. Follow the proper procedure:
5. Verify that the picture is correct. If it is, then go to step 6. Otherwise, continue moving east or west until the correct satellite is found. 6. Press ALPHA on the receiver until the desired letter for the satellite to be programmed appears. Go through the alphabet to the letter again, next press NUM on the receiver until the desired number for the satellite to be programmed appears and then go around to the number again. 7. After getting the correct name, hold MEMORY down until the name blinks then stop. 8. Press AUTO and turn the auto light on.
HOW TO TURN ON/OFF A PARENTAL LOCK 1. Go to the channel to be locked out or unlocked. 2. Press Parental-set to lock out or Parental-reset to unlock the channel. 3. The locked out channel can be viewed if the remote is used to select the channel. 4. The locked out channel cannot be viewed if the receiver is used to change channels, also the satellite cannot be changed.

Then press NUM on the receiver until the desired number for the satellite to be erased. 3. After getting the correct name, hold CANCEL down until the name disappears. 4. Press AUTO and turn the light back on.
1. Press SATELLITE PRESET left or right to scroll through the satellite names. 2. Stop on the correct satellite. The dish will then move to selected satellite. |
