BUTTONS ON THE RECEVIER

  • Power - On or Off
  • Format - Used to select the reversed polarity when in (Galaxy), or normal polarity when out (Satcom).
  • 12 channel buttons - Used to select the appropriate channel, used with the polarity switch button.
  • Polarity - Selects the odd or even polarity on a channel. The indicator light signifies whether it is an even (top light) or odd (bottom light).

KNOBS ON THE RECEIVER

  • Audio Tune - Used to adjust the audio subcarrier frequency between 5.5 - 8.0 MHz.
  • Fine Tune - Used to adjust the fine tuning on a channel.

METERS ON THE RECEIVER

  • Signal Strength - Displays the strength of the signal received. Used as an aid in aiming the dish or, as an overall indication of system performance.
