(This is a receiver only and will have a separate dish positioner)

BUTTONS ON THE RECEVIER

  • Power - On or Off
  • Audio Tuning (6.8, 6.2, ä ) - Push to select etiher 6.8 preset, 6.2 preset or manual audio (manual is use with the audio tuning slide control).
  • Fine Tune left/right - Used to adjust the fine tuning on a channel. Used with the center tune meter.
  • Format REV- Used to select the reversed polarity when light on (Galaxy), or normal polarity when light out (Satcom).
  • Scan - Used to scan the channels when aiming the antenna.
  • Channel Select Up/Down - Used to change channels

KNOBS ON THE RECEIVER

  • Audio Tuning - Slide left/right to adjust the audio subcarrier frequency between
  • 5.5 - 8.0 MHz when the manual ä is selected.

METERS ON THE RECEIVER

  • Signal Strength - Displays the strength of the signal received. Used as an aid in aiming the dish or, as an overall indication of system performance.
  • Center Tune - Used with the fine tune buttons for indication of optimum tuning on a channel.

BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE

Receiver Functions:

  • Channel up/down
  • Tune up/down - fine tune adjustments
  • Power
  • Pol - polarity
  • Mute
  • Scan

Stereo Functions:

  • Power
  • Select

Satscan:

  • Up / Down

  • Satellites (Satcom, Westar, Comstar, Anik, Galaxy, Spacenet, Spare1, Spare2)
  • Numbers ( 1-8 )
