DISH Network and DIRECTV will mount your new satellite dish in an appropriate location within 100 feet cable length of a television and provide up to 100 feet of RG-6 cable; all hardware necessary to ground the satellite antenna is provided. The installer will route all cable to the TV either through an exterior wall or from the basement and then connect the receiver to an existing phone jack in the same room with telephone wire the installer provides. The installer will explain the entire process to you and answer all of your questions.
Prior to the time of installation, you should discuss any additional service requirements or cost questions because if you need anything above standard installation, you must pay for the equipment and/or services at that time.
